It’s necessary to support businesses from Bulgaria and Turkey for successful partnerships

The leadership of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry met with representatives of the Turkish-Bulgarian Business Council at the Board for Foreign Economic Relations of Turkey /DEIK/

Sarabekir, who heads the Turkish-Bulgarian Business Council for the third consecutive term, explained that the main activity of the organization is economic diplomacy. There are about 30 council members and they all have companies or partners in Bulgaria.

The participants in the meeting agreed to organize business forums on a reciprocal basis, with a focus on specific sectors / trade, logistics, investments, information technologies, 3D printing, cooperation in the field of higher education.

An example of the need to connect businesses from Bulgaria and Turkey was the third business forum Balkan Business Summit 2024, held in Bansko last week. The purpose of the event was to strengthen regional economic cooperation between the Balkan countries and to create successful future partnerships. Companies from various sectors including automotive, construction, metals, IT and travel services have taken part.
