Cooperation with the Chinese Academy for Training International Business Representatives

BCCI held a meeting with partners from the Academy for training International Business Representatives at the Chinese Ministry of Commerce /Academy for International Business Officials/. The Chamber President held talks with Sun Zhonghe, Head of the organisation, Pei Jianhua, First Secretary at the Embassy of China in Sofia, and with a number of experts.

The guests explained that they are responsible for the international training seminars organised by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce. The Academy cooperates with more than 170 countries from all over the world. Practically, the training sessions represent a Forum for bilateral exchange of knowledge, skills and contacts. Each year, over 50,000 people participate in the training sessions, predominantly from Asia and Africa.

The BCCI President presented the objectives and goals of the Chamber and emphasised the active cooperation with the Embassy of China in Sofia and many national and regional organisations of the business in the Asian country. He also shared information about the process of preparing representatives from Bulgaria during the Academy’s training, which will be given in the period 28 August - 13 September 2024. The parameters of the visits to the town of Fuzhou and the town of Beijing were specified.    

Mr Simeonov and the guests also discussed other opportunities to develop joint initiatives, including training sessions in Bulgaria, to support the optimisation of the two-way exchange, investment and on the whole, the economic interaction between Bulgaria and China.
