Anaïs Jan, Director for Europe at the World Trade Centres Association /WTCA/, made a visit to Bulgaria. For her visit, the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which is also a World Trade Centre - Sofia /an associated one/, organised a Programme full of meetings. The main purpose of the visit was to prepare the forthcoming European Regional Meeting of the World Trade Centres, which will take place in June 2025 and its host will be the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
BCCI President Tsvetan Simeonov talked with Anais Jan and discussed current topics related to the Association, the economic environment in Europe and Bulgaria and how it affects the daily activity of business organisations and in particular, the World Trade Centers.
The interlocutors discussed the Programme of the European Meeting of the World Trade Centers, which will include a working session at BCCI, a visit to Interpred - WTC Sofia, different thematic events at Sofia Tech Park, as well as a rich cultural programme.
Mr Simeonov emphasised that the event in June 2025 will be part of the Programme to celebrate 130 years of the BCCI establishment
Also, Anaïs Jan shared information about the WTCA Global Business Forum to be held on 6 - 9 April in Marseille, France, in which BCCI representatives will also participate, with the purpose of promoting the meeting in Sofia in mid-2025.
The Association of World Trade Centres is an organisation comprising 89 countries and regions with 317 licensed WTCs.
