Meeting with the New Ambassador of the State of Palestine in Sofia

Recently, after delivering his credentials, the newly appointed Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the State of Palestine, Nasri Khalil Salim ABUJAISH, visited the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and talked with its President Tsvetan Simeonov. The meeting was held with the active participation of Ahmad Alaeddine, Chairman of the Association of the Bulgarian-Arab Economic Chambers (ABAEC).

The main topic of the talk was to discuss the opportunities for developing the economic relations between the two countries. Tsvetan Simeonov presented in detail the activity of BCCI and clarified the contacts, established with Chambers of Commerce and business organisations from Palestine and its region. He expressed hope that the bilateral business contacts get more active.

The Ambassador acquainted himself with BCCI's experience in organising thematic exhibitions of products from other countries and business events with the purpose of establishing business partnerships, as well as the rich information to the benefit of the companies from this country and from abroad.

The overall regional and international situation was also discussed. A regular exchange of information on economic topics of mutual interest was agreed.
