Following the EU Club meeting in Sofia on July 24, 2024, where the founding parties embraced the idea to intensify their cooperation with regard to the European treaties and within the framework of the European Union, it was agreed to establish the Permanent Commission of the Bilateral Chambers of EU member states in Bulgaria (hereinafter "the EU-Chambers”).
Consequently, the Memorandum was signed in November by the bilateral chambers of the following member states in alphabetic order:
Greece: Bulgarian-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Industry
Hungary: Hungarian-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce
Netherlands: Dutch Bulgarian Business Association
Romania: Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce
Spain: Bulgarian-Spanish Chamber of Commerce.
On the 20th of January 2025 the newly established EU-Chambers in Bulgaria had its first meeting and elected its first governing body.

Vice President: Bilyana Manolova - Bulgarian-Spanish Chamber of Commerce
Vice President: Savvas Karafyllidis - Bulgarian-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Industry
On the 27th of January 2025 the EU-Chambers in Bulgaria unanimously adopted their logo, which can be used by all signatories in their communication.
Based on its Memorandum, the EU-Chambers in Bulgaria shall
Any foreign or bilateral business / economic organization of companies of EU member states that has been established or may be established in the future may join the EU-Chambers in Bulgaria. For additional information eu-bg@hbcc.eu
