Leading African companies and institutions learned about the opportunities for doing business in Bulgaria







The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a meeting with business partners from Nigeria, organized by the Bulgarian-African Chamber of Commerce, with the support of the Embassy of Bulgaria in Nigeria.

The main goal of the event was to present the opportunities for doing business and investing in Bulgaria to leading African companies and institutions with a focus on industry and the economy. The second part of the event included a detailed presentation of Bulgarian companies with interests in Nigeria. The participants discussed common ground and set ambitious goals to achieve in the near future.

The President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Tsvetan Simeonov, welcomed the delegation from Nigeria, consisting of representatives of the Presidential Administration of the President of Nigeria, the Ministry of Trade and Investment of Nigeria, the Lagos State Infrastructure Maintenance Agency (LASIMRA), the Lagos Communications Infrastructure Development Organization, and the Nigerian Commodity Exchange.

Anton Samsonov, President of the Bulgarian-African Chamber of Commerce, explained that the interests of the guests are focused on sectors such as: digital technologies and media, construction and architecture, telecommunications, 5G connections and internet service providers, ecological aesthetics, sustainable environment, innovative landscaping and agriculture, initiatives for the protection and creation of green infrastructure.
