Participation of Bulgarian Software Companies in Trade Mission in Seoul Devoted to Technological Healthcare

In the period 17-21 March 2025, Seoul hosted a business mission under the EU Business Hub Programme called Healthcare and Medical Equipment Korea. The Trade Mission aimed at presenting Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from the EU in the field of healthcare and medical equipment on the Korean market. About 50 EU companies participated in the Business Mission, including two high-tech Bulgarian software companies which successfully presented their digital software solutions in the healthcare sector, namely BGO Software, Sofia (www.bgosoftware.com) and SoftGroup, Sofia (www.softgroup.eu).

Thanks to the assistance of the Head of the Trade and Economic Affairs Office /TEAO/ in Seoul - Ilia Dekov, the Bulgarian businessmen were introduced to serious Korean companies, associations and trade advisors, and also, a meeting was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Seoul with the Ambassador Petar Kraychev. During that meeting, the businessmen got well acquainted with the current economic and political situation in the Republic of Korea, the development of the Bulgarian-Korean relations and the opportunities for business in Korea.

The participation of BGO Software and SoftGroup Software Companies was successful and fruitful business contacts were established with potential Korean business partners.
