Business meeting in the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry within the official visit of the Lebanese Prime Minister in Bulgaria



Accents in the commercial-and-economic relations between Bulgaria and Lebanon were in the center of a business meeting between the President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Lebanon, Mr. Mohamed Kushar, and the delegation accompanying the Prime Minister Saad Hariri, and representatives of the Bulgarian business.

Lebanon occupies a leading place in our stock exchange with the Arab states and is a traditional partner of ours – noted BCCI President Tsvetan Simeonov on opening the meeting between the two delegations. Discussed were the possibilities of obtaining access to EU markets and overcome underestimation of the potential of the local market which has re-export possibilities in the region too, by investing in the Bulgarian economy.

Considered was the potential to intensify the trade and develop investments in the industry, participation in the real estates market, tourism, the banking and insurance business, the foodstuff industry, the processing and light industry . From the Lebanese part there is interest in investing in the sphere of services and participation in the big commercial chains.

Mr. Simeonov personally introduced the President of the Lebanese Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture Mr. Mohamed Kushar to the already established and operating possibilities in the Chamber for fast registration of Lebanese firms and their full servicing .

Agreed was an exchange of business delegations

The Lebanese delegation accompanied Prime Minister Saad Hariri, who was on official visit to Bulgaria on the invitation of Prime Minister Boyko Borisov, and who had a conversation with BCCI President Tsvetan Simeonov during the official dinner on 28 March 2010 in the Sheraton hotel.
