Meeting with representatives of the American Embassy
The President of BCCI, Tsvetan Simeonov met with representatives of the Embassy of the United States in Sofia – Senior Commercial Officer Barbara Lapini and Deputy Chief of Political and Economic Section Seiji Shiratori. At the meeting, held on 19 January 2012, issues related to proposals for improvement of the Public Procurement Act were discussed.
Another topic of mutual interest was energy efficiency as an important factor for Bulgarian business and society. Multiple examples of its application and the benefits from it were presented.
Tsvetan Simeonov shared with his guests the Chamber’s position on EU funds absorption.
