Meeting of the BCCI President with the Mayor of Pernik

 
The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry renewed its meeting with representatives of the regional chambers of commerce and industry. Today the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov met with the Mayor of Pernik Ms. Rositza Yanakieva to discuss the development of the business environment in the region in 2012. The need to expand cooperation with the local CCI for management and participation in cross-border cooperation projects was considered. 

The meeting was organized at the initiative of the President of Pernik Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ms. Boyka Pavlova, who informed about the improving cooperation with the regional administration and the other local authorities. The excellent maintenance of the roads in the region was cited as an example which in the present harsh winter conditions may be seen as an advantage by entrepreneurs, because they do not have to waste time commuting. 

During the meeting the three parties – the Municipality and the two chambers – agreed to start drawing up and maintaining a business guide on Pernik and the region, which will help inform about the opportunities provided by the Industrial zone in the town, which is included in the national register of zones for investment kept by BCCI.
