BCCI and Junior Chamber International will support projects of young people







 
The President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov met with Bertolt Daems, President of Junior Chamber International (JCI), Magdalina Zlateva – National President and Ivaylo Nikolov – Secretary General of JCI Bulgaria. The business relations between BCCI and JCI at local and international level were discussed. Opportunities for cooperation were considered, as well as the possibility to sign a memorandum of understanding.

BCCI intends to organize a series of trainings with lecturers from Junior Chamber International and expressed its readiness to cooperate in EU projects started by young people, in order to provide young people with a platform and opportunity to participate, to promote social inclusion and variety in terms of work, equal opportunities, anti-discrimination, voluntary work, public activity and informal education.

On 25 February this year in Hilton Hotel, JCI will hold an Open Doors Day to present its mission, principles, projects and priorities.

JCI is a non-governmental organization, established in 1944 in the USA (http://www.jci.cc/). At present the organization has over 200 000 members aged between 18 and 40, from more than 100 countries worldwide. In November 2011 JCI opened its office in Bulgaria
