BCCI will take part in the initiatives of Sofia Municipality for “Sofia – European Cultural Capital 2019”



 
The President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov had a work meeting with Svetlana Lomeva, Director of Sofia Development Association and Sevdalina Voynova, Program Director in Sofia Municipality. The positive cooperation with the management of Sofia Municipality, where most of the companies – members of BCCI are situated, was noted. 

Last year due to the assistance of the Mayor of Sofia Yordanka Fandakova and the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov, the collection of fees improved as a result of a signed agreement with the branch of restaurateurs for the fees for use of sidewalk areas by cafes and restaurants in Sofia.


BCCI will participate in the initiatives organized by Sofia Municipality for “Sofia – European Cultural Capital 2019” by distributing the information on the organized events among its numerous members. It was agreed that a special session of the EUROCLUB will be organized on 8 May, and an Open Doors Day will be held at BCCI during spring break to present the activity and functions of GS1 in protection of consumers and the possible ways to recognize counterfeit products.
