General Assembly of the Turkish – Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry

The President of BCCI attended as a special guest the fifth regular general assembly of the Turkish – Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bulgaria, which was held on 29 February 2012.

Mr. Simeonov addressed the participants and thanked the joint chamber, which despite the difficult economic situation has remained an important factor for preserving the image of Turkish business in Bulgaria. The regular exchange of information and the multiple joint initiatives are crucial for the successful cooperation between BCCI and the Turkish – Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Simeonov said.

Both Mr. Simeonov and H.E. Ismail Aramaz, Ambassador of Turkey to Bulgaria expressed their content with the resolution of the visa problem, which impeded business relations between the both countries.

As of February, Turkish citizens - holders of green passports and Schengen visas are allowed to enter our country without obtaining a Bulgarian entry visa.
