BCCI joins the initiatives of EUROCHAMBRES and EC to promote business with India
The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry will provide assistance for promotion of the economic relations between the European Union and the developing Indian market. For this purpose a European Business and Technology Center was set up in India. The project is implemented by the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry – EUROCHAMBRES, co-funded by the European Commission and was initiated three years ago. Its purpose is engaging and assisting EU SMEs to better orientate in global markets.
It is a one of its kind project and within it BCCI will select suitable Bulgarian R&D companies and organizations to participate in several business events in India and establish direct contacts with partners from the world’s largest economy.
The initiative is targeted at the sectors of biotechnologies (biopharmacy, organic farming, bioinformatics and bioservices); energy (solar, wind, biomass, small hydro projects, waste treatment energy, biofuels); environment (waste treatment, development of purification technologies, air purification systems, waste processing, chemicals processing) and transport (various types of sustainable transport solutions).
Three promotional events dedicated to India will be held in Bulgaria as part of the initiative, which will continue for 9 months.
