Representative of “UBIFRANCE – Bulgaria” visited BCCI

Marc Debels, Commercial Counselor at the Economic Mission “UBIFRANCE – Bulgaria” visited BCCI. At a meeting with the President of the Chamber Tsvetan Simeonov, he presented the activity of the French Agency for International Business Development “UBIFRANCE” which has around 70 offices worldwide. At the beginning of 2012 the Agency opened its Bulgarian office, which testifies to the growing interest of investors to our country.
UBIFRANCE – Bulgaria assists and promotes cooperation between French and Bulgarian companies in various sectors of industry.

A forum “France meets South Eastern Europe in Sofia!” will take place in the period 4 – 6 July 2012 in Hilton Hotel, Sofia. An impressive delegation of 50 French companies is expected to attend our country.

Companies from 13 South Eastern European countries were invited. Tsvetan Simeonov said that BCCI will continue working on its existing programme to increase French investments in Bulgaria. With regard to this, the first important visit to Marseille of Bulgarian business delegation accompanying Deputy Minister of Economy Ivo Marinov was paid in the end of January. During the visit a number of meetings with representatives of the fashion and tailoring industry, and women entrepreneurs were held, along with a visit of the oldest chamber of commerce in the world – the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Marseille. There is unutilized potential for development of bilateral commercial relations. BCCI and UBIFRANCE can successfully cooperate to achieve this goal.
