BCCI and PREPORAKA.BG start cooperation in favour of Bulgarian employers
Thrice measure, once … recommend!
Ever since the Valiant Tailor of Andersen’s tale the rule thrice measure, once cut has applied. Not to say that tailors were not good enough masters. They were, but they knew the importance of exact measurement. Because once you start cutting there is no turning back. The fabric or the leather either becomes a garment, or goes to waste.
Nowadays entrepreneurs are like tailors – they take measures, examine, think and finally appoint employees or workers who help them earn their money. The only difference is that employees are not pieces and if the entrepreneur does not take the correct measures, his business would fall apart.
Every year thousands of leva are lost because of unsuitable employees that were hired or workers that have left their jobs. According to data of the National Statistical Institute, fluctuation of manpower brings Bulgarian employers losses to the amount of million leva annually, said Svetlomir Ivanov during a presentation held at BCCI. Every employer is obliged by law to give recommendations to his employees that left their jobs “if requested”. If he took even a little time to write his personal attitude to an employee or young specialist, his recommendation would be as important to everyone seeking to develop as specialist, as a collection of university degrees, Mr. Ivanov added.
Employers should show solidarity, but they also should spare each other the extra efforts for hiring new employees, by granting their recommendations with readiness and the easiest way to do this is through the website of PREPORAKA.BG, said the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov who wished success to the new cooperation initiative, of which all members of the network of regional chambers of commerce and industry will be additionally informed.
