Representatives of Lisburn, Northern Ireland visited BCCI
Representatives of the City Council of Lisburn, Northern Ireland visited BCCI on 28 March 2012. The Chairman of the Economic Development Committee Alderman Jim Dillon and the Economic Development Manager of Lisburn City Council Hazel King met with the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov.
Mr. Simeonov presented the structure and activities of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and explained that the national chamber is modeled after the chambers of commerce and industry on the island.
The guests informed Mr. Simeonov that they represent the second largest city in Northern Ireland. Lisburn City Council actively assists local companies in developing business contacts with partners from South Eastern Europe. Five companies from Northern Ireland interested in waste collection, processing and management, are accompanying the officials during their trip to our country.
The parties agreed that during the next visit, the BCCI will help come in direct contacts with Bulgarian companies – members of the Chamber.
