The new Bulgarian Ambassador in Stockholm visited BCCI
The new Ambassador of Bulgaria to Sweden, Svetlin Stoev visited BCCI and met with the President Tsvetan Simeonov.
The joint activity of BCCI and its Swedish partners was presented. The two chambers of commerce maintain constant contact, both bilaterally and within the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry it was explained.
During the meeting, possibilities to present high-quality Bulgarian wines on the Swedish market, which is highly regulated in this sector, were discussed. Mr. Stoev said that the Nordic counties are a destination which holds great potential for Bulgarian wines. The countries from the region manufacture beer, but consume a lot of wine as well.
“My goal is to search the unutilized or already forgotten niches for development of bilateral trade and economic relations”, the future Ambassador said. Developing an export list of Bulgarian products will be highly beneficial for the achievement of this goal.
Mr. Simeonov introduced his guest to the advantages of the arbitration procedure for resolution of commercial disputes, pointing out that the Stockholm Court of Arbitration is an institution recommended not only by Sweden, but by other countries in the region. Only the Arbitration Court at the BCCI is more advanced in terms of digitalization and remote access to case files.
