BCCI will help classify the greenest companies in Bulgaria

The management of b2b Media Group visited the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in continuation of the existing cooperation. The focus of discussion was the upcoming second edition of the competition for the greenest company in Bulgaria, which for the first time will be accompanied by the international Green Day Forum.
In times when companies are trying to overcome the aftermath of the crisis and to increase their stability, many of them are turning to corporate social responsibility with an accent on “green and ecological”. The aim is to find out what makes these companies offer innovative approaches to customers, competitors, activists, regulatory bodies, employees, etc. and how the change happens inside the company, how this commitment is perceived by the senior executives, how the public opinion affects the support and understanding of the new corporate policies.
It was agreed that BCCI will provide special assistance for the organization and staging of the competition, and for the elaboration of an independent ranking of “The greenest companies in Bulgaria”. For such an initiative to be successful, it is most important that is covers a representative part of the businesses that operate “in the light” and pay their taxes.
BCCI undertook to use its communication channels to provide more suitable candidates for the classification, so that competition in the various categories is more intense.
The competition aims to present the largest number of companies with modern business outlook and to provide assistance and support to businesses.
BCCI will help inform the members of the Chamber about the initiative and the electronic filling-in of applications for nomination of the greenest companies in Bulgaria on 15 May 2012 in Sofia.
The event will take place on 29 June 2012 with the official awarding ceremony immediately after it.
