During the meeting the parties discussed the need of legislation promoting the development of the soft drinks and mineral waters sector, helping to strengthen the export potential of Bulgarian companies and curbing the grey sector of economy.
Proposals for the joint organization of topical exhibitions for the sector, business delegations and projects were discussed, as well as trainings for companies regarding the opportunities and latest trends in the field of GS1.
Tsvetan Simeonov thanked the former President of the Association Mr. Milcho Boshev for his excellent cooperation and active participation in the work of the Council of Sectorial Organisations with BCCI while defending positions and expressing opinions on draft bills, organizing surveys and including a larger number of the Association’s members in initiatives of the Chamber.

The newly elected Chairperson of the Bulgarian Soft Drinks Association Mrs. Zhana Velichkova met with the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov.

On behalf of the Association, Mrs. Zhana Velichkova expressed interest towards the e-commerce platform Ecomgrid and the opportunities it provides for finding partners, advertising and trading products. She expressed readiness to cooperate actively during the talks for the minimum insurable income by preparing analyses, conducting research and polls in the sector, as well as to provide assistance for attracting investments and restricting the additional administrative and regulatory burdens on companies from the sector.
