The new Bulgarian Ambassador to Brazil visited BCCI
The newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Federative Republic of Brazil Mr. Chavdar Nikolov visited BCCI. During the meeting, the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov introduced his guest to the main activities of the Chamber, its well-developed regional structure and membership in all major international organizations, as well as to its well-functioning Court of Arbitration.
H.E. Chavdar Nikolov and Tsvetan Simeonov arrived at the conclusion that Brazil is still not a fully developed economic destination. The future common task of BCCI and the Embassy of Bulgaria in Brazil will be to help increase the bilateral trade turnover and find reliable business partners for companies from the two countries. There are also excellent opportunities for future Brazilian investments to be made in various sectors of Bulgarian economy.
H.E. Chavdar Nikolov is a career diplomat with solid knowledge and comprehensive professional experience. He has a Master’s Degree in International Relations from the Moscow State University. In 1971 he joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs consecutively occupying various diplomatic positions, including Ambassador. He worked as an expert and manager in the field of bilateral relations with the American countries, international law and consular relations, as well as in the field of planning and coordinating the diplomatic activity.
