Tsvetan Simeonov presented businessmen with the “Golden Euro” award
The experience of Poland – the country which has created the most efficient system for European funds management and absorption, was presented at a Conference under the auspices of H.E. Mr. Leszek Hensel - Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Bulgaria and of Mr. Tomislav Donchev, Bulgarian Minister for EU Funds Management.
At the end of the conference the winners of the national prize “Golden Euro” were announced. They have achieved the highest results in EU funds absorption. The prize is given by the National Association of Social Services Organizations, “Funds, Programmes, Projects” Magazine, and Human Resources in Bulgaria and EU Integration Foundation.
The President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry presented the awards in the business categories:
oStanislav Razpopov, Executive Director of “Dunapack Rodina” AD, for creating new jobs through expansion of the production activity;
oNikolay Obretenov, Procurator of “M+S Hydraulic” AD, for technological modernization and innovative production;
oZdravko Linkin, Manager of “Profilink” OOD for introducing innovation to the production activity of the company;
oElisaveta Nikolova, Executive Director of “Elmot” AD for competitiveness by introducing innovative products.
The “Golden Euro” award in the remaining categories went to:
oGergo Gergov, Mayor of Vidin, for realized European projects in the social sphere;
oVelyo Iliev, Mayor of Petrich, for using European money to improve the town infrastructure;
oDr. Krasimir Dzhonev, Mayor of Letnitsa, for European projects developing tourism in Municipality Letnitsa;
oProf. Anelia Klisarova for implemented projects and increasing the research potential of Medical University Varna;
oAssoc. Prof. Georgi Godinyachki, Rector of Higher School of Civil Engineering “Lyuben Karavelov” – Sofia for improving the educational environment in the Higher School;
oPlamen Poyukov, Director of State Hunting Area “Dikchan” – Satovcha, for reforestation projects in non-agricultural land and breeding of endangered game populations in the hunting fields of Dikchan, village Satovcha.
oEleonora Negulova, Entrepreneur, for developed project under the Rural Development Programme and for implemented project for innovations in the food industry
oThe “Golden Euro” statuettes were gold-platted by the Bulgarian Mint and are unique and copyrighted.
