Turkey assumes the Presidency of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation
On 8th June 2012 in Belgrade, Serbia the 43rd regular session of the Business Council of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) took place. The meeting was hosted by Serbia Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The purpose of the meeting was to review the work of the Organization, its active projects and initiatives, as well as to pass on the Presidency for the second half of 2012 to the Turkish partner – the Foreign Economic Cooperation Council.
The Business Council of the BSEC has cooperated very actively with the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank. During the meeting current initiatives of the Bank supporting businesses in the region will be presented.
In 2012 the 20th anniversary of the launching of the Business Council of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation is marked. The anniversary will be celebrated during the Turkish Presidency of the Organization.
