At BCCI seminar dedicated to the establishment of competitive clusters
The Bulgarian Association of Women Entrepreneurs in cooperation with the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism organized a seminar on theme “Bulgaria’s progress in the establishment of competitive clusters”. The seminar was held at BCCI on 15 June 2012.
Leading experts in the sector made presentations on:
-“Support for the development of clusters in Bulgaria”, Mr. Rosen Draganov, Chief Directorate “European Competitiveness Funds”, Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism;
-“International trends in the development of clusters. Clusters in Bulgaria”, Mrs. Genoveva Hristova, President of the Association of Business Clusters in Bulgaria;
-Mrs. Ilze Atanasova, President of Marine Cluster Bulgaria shared positive practices and experience.
Business representatives and sectorial organizations - members of the BCCI took part in the seminar.
During the discussion the requirements for projects for establishing competitive clusters were emphasized. Establishing competitive clusters is one of the main priorities of Operational Programme “Competitiveness”.
According to the leading experts, it is precisely the development of clusters that will help improve the macroeconomic stability of our country and will increase the competitiveness of Bulgarian economy.
