Meeting of the Council of Presidents of the Unified System of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Regional Chambers









 
The Decision of the Constitutional Court which acknowledges BCCI’s right to continue to represent the interests of its 52 000 members in the National Council for Tripartite Cooperation was one of the topics discussed during the meeting of the Council of Presidents of the Unified System of the BCCI and the Regional Chambers of Commerce. BCCI’s role in the regions was stressed. 

New opportunities for cooperation of Bulgarian businesses through the electronic commerce platform EComGrid were presented. 10194 business entities have already entered the grid. The Platform of which BCCI is a partner allows companies to be independent of any agents and directly links them to end customers. The system provides unique imbedded solutions for companies, including entering GS1-GPC codes, a wall on which to exchange business information and job offers in a business community. 

The meeting of the Council of Presidents of BCCI discussed opportunities for access to financing, especially in the field of entrepreneurship. The measures proposed under the National Agreement “First Job” signed with the Government and the social partners were discussed. The document was adopted in execution of the National Initiative “Jobs for Young People in Bulgaria 2012 – 2013”.


The efficient EU Regional Development funds absorption was discussed. Special emphasis was placed on the Danube Strategy, the opportunities of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation, cross-border business cooperation and the usual sharing of good business practices. 


In execution of the Cooperation Agreement signed with Raiffeisen Bank, products and instruments for small and medium-sized enterprises were presented.
