At BCCI the Annual Information Meeting with Interns from High Schools of Economics Was Held









 

At BCCI the regular annual information meeting between “Economic Analyses and Policies” Directorate and interns from economic high schools was held. 

Students from 10th and 11th grade - members of the “Entrepreneur” Club of the National High School of Mathematics and Natural Sciences “Academician G. Chakalov” took part in the meeting alongside the traditional partners from the National Trade and Banking High School and the National High School in Finance and Business.



The President of BCCI Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov reiterated the Chamber’s position that an increase of the total number of academic hours in entrepreneurship is needed and that entrepreneurial skills should be taught at the earliest possible age, so that youths are prepared for the business endeavors they are about to embark on. Then our country will not lose, and everyone will have the opportunity to draft their own business plans early. 



According to Mr. Simeonov, entrepreneurial skills should be taught by people who have practical experience and the training should take place after office hours. Nobody is going to give up a good employee, if an intern has shown professional qualities at his workplace.
