Tsvetan Simeonov was a special guest to the ceremony for awarding “Stara Planina” Order First Degree to the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium H.E. Marc Michielsen









 Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev awarded the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium H.E. Marc Michielsen with “Stara Planina” Order First Degree. The highest Bulgarian state order was bestowed on the occasion of the departure of the Ambassador from Bulgaria for good. 
The President of BCCI Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov was a special guest to the ceremony at the invitation of Ambassador Michielsen. 
H.E. Marc Michielsen has been an Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium since 16 October 2008. The “Stara Planina” Order is the highest state order bestowed by the President to politicians, diplomats and officials. The award was established by Decree of the National Assembly in 1966 and initially was granted only to foreign citizens. 

Thanking for the high prise, Ambassador Michielsen said that Bulgaria will remain in his heart and soul and stressed that during the last year of his term, his wife also became famous enough. 

In February 2012, Ms. Marie-Chantal Biela was one of the artists whose work was presented with the “Symbols of Happiness” exhibition of Art Visa Bulgaria Gallery at BCCI.
