The newly-appointed Ambassador of Bulgaria to Morocco held meetings at BCCI
The newly-appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Kingdom of Morocco Boryana Simeonova visited the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry before her departure. During her meeting with BCCI’s President Tsvetan Simeonov she said that Morocco is a stable country which has created excellent conditions for business. The country provides opportunities for cooperation and has well developed construction industry and low VAT. She also confirmed that there is a very good contractual framework for cooperation with EU Member States.
Boryana Simeonova added that 400 Bulgarians with excellent reputation in society and business live in Morocco. Tsvetan Simeonov presented BCCI’s opportunities to guarantee good contacts with the partner Chambers in Morocco and its capabilities to serve companies at every stage of their activity.
In the autumn, the next session of the joint committee for trade and economic cooperation between the two countries will take place. Mr. Simeonov offered assistance on behalf of BCCI to Moroccan companies which need information for establishing business contacts and suggested to present industrial zones in Bulgaria.
Boryana Simeonova got a masters degree in History from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and before that graduated 118th Secondary School with French. She has attended training courses at the Federal Ministry of Public Service of Belgium and the European Commission, at the Enlargement and Legal Services Directorates-General, respectively. She started work at the Council of Ministers in 1998 and has been a successful Director of Government Protocol during the term of office of four successive governments.
She is fluent in French and Russian and capable in English and Italian.
