BCCI: In sectors where no agreement on the minimum insurable income has been reached, last year’s levels must be preserved
According to BCCI, it is possible not to increase the minimum insurance thresholds in some sectors of industry, said today Alexander Dimitrov, BCCI Analyst in an interview for the morning broadcast of Horizont Programme, Bulgarian National Radio. Where there is growth in productivity however, the insurance thresholds will be increased.
The Chamber insists last year’s levels to be preserved in the sectors in which no agreement for the minimum insurance thresholds has been reached. There are some sectors of industry that need help. In one and the same sector there are companies which are registering growth and other companies, which will not be able to react if the insurance threshold is administratively increased and will be in serious difficulty. Alexander Dimitrov emphasized the European Commission’s recommendation – not to raise anything administratively, and not to interfere in the economic activity – because, after all we are a market economy.
Today is the final meeting of the Working Group, which determines the minimum insurable incomes for 2013 in cooperation will all sectorial (branch) organizations.
