Representatives of JETRO visited BCCI

Mr. Jun Washizawa, Director of JETRO Wien and Dr. Akio Takada, Correspondent for Bulgaria discussed with Mr. Stoev the development of Bulgarian energy sector and especially the state of renewable energy projects after the latest legislative changes in this area.

Mr. Stoev informed the guests about the events scheduled to take place in December 2012 in Tokyo on the occasion of the 40^th anniversary of the joint Bulgarian – Japanese Economic Council, and a Bulgarian investment forum which is being organized.

Mr. Washizawa was also interested in the trade and investment relations between Bulgaria and other Asian countries.

JETRO is a strategic partner of the BCCI – the two organizations have a long-term partnership, they signed a Memorandum of Understanding in 1977 to help promote bilateral economic relations through exchange of information and delegations, organizing fairs and exhibitions, etc.
