Meeting at BCCI with the Bulgarian Commercial Counselor in Switzerland

Tsvetan Simeonov introduced Ms. Gruycheva to some of the latest events organized successfully by the Chamber – the business delegation to Vienna accompanying the President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rosen Plevneliev, the seminar presenting business and investment opportunities in the Bulgarian ethnic region Taraclia, Republic of Moldova, etc.

Mr. Simeonov also explained how the Chamber can assist Swiss companies which are interested in doing business in Bulgaria.

During the meeting it was ascertained that after the example of the Bulgarian – Swiss Chamber in Sofia which is working very successfully, BCCI is interested in encouraging Bulgarian companies in Switzerland to be more active. More efforts are needed to attract high-tech investments from Switzerland.

The parties discussed that Bulgaria should be better advertised in Switzerland, including should participate in fairs in Switzerland. For that reason, Tsvetan Simeonov explained that more state funding is needed for advertising Bulgarian products and promoting Bulgaria as a good place for investments.
