BCCI to assist the metallurgical industry in finding new foreign markets





 As was agreed during the last meeting of the Consultative Council to the “Pact for Industrial Stability” with the Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism, the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov had a meeting with Mr. Anton Petrov, President of the Bulgarian Association of the Metallurgical Industry. Mr. Lachezar Iskrov, member of the Board of Directors and the Executive Council of BCCI also took part in the meeting. 
Various issues were discussed related to BCCI’s assistance for locating new foreign markets for products of the metallurgical industry. 
The Association undertook to prepare information by regions about the range of products of the metallurgical industry which may be of interest for exports, as well as for attracting new markets. 


On its part, the Chamber will help the Association by announcing the information to its foreign partners. When bilateral meetings are organized, BCCI will help attract investments to this important sector of industry. 


The Bulgarian Association of the Metallurgical Industry will inform its members about the opportunity to present their activities during the business forums organized by BCCI in the country and abroad. 


Finally, the preparation of a joint proposal to the Minister of Economy, Energy and Tourism was discussed, containing specific measures for expanding the export strategy of our country in the field of metallurgy and engaging the Bulgarian Commercial Attaches in the respective regions with specific requirements.
