BCCI supports all initiatives promoting cross-border cooperation in the Danube Region





 The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry took part in the seminar “Danube cluster of knowledge – an instrument of cooperation and solidarity in the Danube region”. The initiative deserves support because on the one hand the Danube region provides excellent basis to expand cooperation and, on the other hand, because it focuses on the innovative approach. 
Even though cooperation cannot be accomplished as part of the Lisbon Strategy, the Chamber expects that it will be developed through new initiatives. 
Today’s meeting is paving the way to the big event which will take place in Bratislava, Slovakia on 13 – 14 November 2012 – a Slovak business forum with the participation of European and non-European companies. The forum will be attended by the Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico and his Bulgarian counterpart Boyko Borisov.
