Meeting with representatives of a local body of BCCI

ESAB Bulgaria is a direct member of the BCCI. This was the second of the planned series of meetings with companies where BCCI has local representative bodies.

The representative of ESAB Bulgaria got acquainted to the activity of the BCCI and discussed the advantages and opportunities which BCCI offers its members. An employee of ESAB Bulgaria will be introduced in details to the services provided by the Chamber, so that the companies located in the town of Ihtiman can obtain information and advice from him, as well as access to all BCCI services.

ESAB Bulgaria JSC is member of ESAB Group, which is an international organization owned by Colfax Corporation USA. ESAB Group started work in 1904 after the invention of the covered welding electrode by Oscar Kjellberg in Sweden. In Bulgaria, ESAB bought the electrode factory in the town of Ihtiman in 2007. The activity of ESAB in Bulgaria dates back to the 1960s, when the company equipped many industrial factories. Today the company produces consumables and equipment for virtually every welding and cutting process and application. More than 100 years of continuous research, development and manufacture have made ESAB a world leader in welding, cutting and also an international supplier of products, know-how and services that none can match.
