Project „Sagittarius“ brought together partners in Sofia

The partners of the „Sagittarius“ project met today. Representatives of 7 South-Eastern European countries took part in the meeting: Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Romania, Slovenia, Hungary and Croatia. The main objective of “Sagittarius” project is to promote tourism development through the use of cultural heritage by improving the way of presentation of cultural and historical sites and to promote investments in undeveloped cultural and historical sites. The most important activities under the project are organizing an "Exhibition on Wheels", making a movie dedicated to tourist sites and publishing a guidebook about them.

When opening the meeting Tsvetan Simeonov said that BCCI supports entrepreneurship and developing cultural-historical tourism in our country through the „Sagittarius“ project. He added that the Chamber plays an important role in implementing the major activities under the project, because it has to draw up the application form for the "Exhibition on Wheels".
