Children deprived of parental care received gifts from BCCI
With a small Christmas celebration the children from Children’s Home “St. Ivan Rilski” in Sofia greeted their guests from the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The team of the Children’s Home takes care of children deprived of parental care, between 3 and 7 years of age.
On the occasion of the Christmas holidays the children from the Home received a donation from the management of BCCI on the basis of their needs. In addition to the gifts for the children, BCCI will also deliver food products of utmost necessity.
These children need support and a “helping hand” not only during the holiday season but all year long. That is why for years the Chamber has taken upon the noble initiative to provide them with year-long assistance.
Traditionally, every year BCCI covers the expenses of the children and the staff for their summer camp.
BCCI thanked the peopled who contributed to the noble cause by placing donations in the money-box in the foyer of the Chamber. BGN 550 was raised for the children from Children’s Home “St. Ivan Rilski”.
