The Nominee for Bulgarian Ambassador to the State of Israel visited BCCI

Mr. Dimitar Mihaylov, Nominee for Ambassador of Bulgaria to the State of Israel visited BCCI and met with its President Tsvetan Simeonov. Ambassador Mihaylov got acquainted with the activity of BCCI. The President of the Chamber expressed appreciation for the efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to optimize the work of the administration.

As far as the State of Israel is concerned, two joint chambers – the Bulgarian – Israel Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Sofia and the Israel – Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce in Israel have been operating successfully and been supported by BCCI since their establishment.

Ambassador Mihaylov informed about the celebrations which are about to take place on the occasion of the 70^th anniversary of the rescue of Bulgarian Jews during WWII. The occasion will be marked next year in 15 countries including Bulgaria and Israel.

With regard to this, the Embassy of Bulgaria in Israel and BCCI agreed to work together to organize joint events mainly in the field of economic cooperation.
