BCCI Signed a Cooperation Agreement with EXPOCENTRE

EXPOCENTRE’s new mission is to sell contacts not only exhibition area






 
BCCI’s business delegation in Moscow visited EXPOCENTRE - the largest international exhibition center, which is in the system of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. The Chamber owns 51% of its capital. EXPOCENTRE organizes 106 exhibitions a year (based on 2010 data) and uses 150 000 sq.m. exhibition space, providing its clients with over 550 additional services. 
During the meeting Mr. Nikolay Nikolaevich Guseff, Deputy Director of EXPOCENTRE announced the new mission of the center: “to sell contacts and not only exhibition area”. The Centre organizes 22 exhibitions included in the UFI list and hosts a lot of independent exhibitions organized by Russian and foreign companies.
Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov, President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Mr. Guseff exchanged ideas and at the end of the meeting signed an agreement for cooperation between the BCCI and EXPOCENTRE, which will allow Bulgarian companies to participate more easily and directly in exhibitions organized by the Centre. 
The participants in the business delegation got acquainted to the exhibition programme of EXPOCENTRE. Around 21% of the exhibitions held at the Centre are somehow related to innovations. Traditionally, Bulgarian companies are presented in the Prodexpo Exhibition for Food and Beverages in Moscow. These are about 15 Bulgarian companies, which share a stall and exhibit canned foods, wines, beverages and other food products.

The last edition of the exhibition attracted over 56 000 visitors.
