In behalf of her visit to Bulgaria, the Deputy Prime Minister, ones the Minister of Trade and Industry, Mimoza Kusari-Lila met the Business Association Representatives of the Republic of Bulgaria.
Initially she met the Secretary General of Association of the Agriculture Producers of Bulgaria, Mr. Ivailo Todorov and representatives of Investment Promotion Agency of Balkan, Mr. Vladimir Vladimirov. Both interlocutors expressed interest of Bulgarian businesses, in particularly on food industry and agriculture, with aim to raise the cooperation with Kosovo businesses.
They also noted the increased interest by the Bulgarian businesses after the reciprocity measures are taken, and the possibility that Serbian products to be replaced by other countries products and other producers. The Deputy Prime Minister, ones the Minister of Trade and Industry, Kusari Lila pointed out the commitment of the Government to create best possible conditions for economic development and promotion of economic relations with all neighboring countries.
The Bulgarian Business Representatives stated out their experience and capacities in field of agriculture, especially in food sector. This was welcomed by the Kosovo party, since the agriculture sector is an important part of the Economic Development Vision that was presented earlier sometime by the Government of Kosovo.
The Deputy Prime Minister Kusari Lila also had meetings with the President of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Republic of Bulgaria, Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov. He expressed his readiness and commitment of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce for cooperation with all economic actors in Kosovo. He also pointed out the fact that Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce is working with KCHK to establish the Court of Arbitration under the KCHC. The Deputy Prime Minister, Mrs. Kusari Lila thanked Mr. Simeonov for his readiness and assistance, also she stated out the commitment of Kosovo Government to work on Kosovo economic development. At the meeting was discussed the reciprocity measures as well, which find a strong support by the Bulgarian side.
At the end of the meeting with Bulgarian business community, the Minister Kusari-Lila has invited the businesses community to visit Kosovo, and meet the Kosovo businesses and same time see collaboration possibilities. Both parties agreed that the visit take place next week, while this event will to be organized by the Ministry of Trade and Industry and Investment Promotion Agency that operates in behalf of this Ministry.
