Meeting with the Director of the Association for Friendship Kurdistan – Bulgaria
In the second quarter of the year stricter control on the import of goods is expected to be introduced in Iraq for the entire territory of the country, said Mr. Saad Taha, Director of the Association for Friendship Kurdistan – Bulgaria at a meeting with the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov.
Specific initiatives aimed at finding reliable Bulgarian suppliers of goods and consumables for the region were discussed.
Mr. Taha provided the BCCI Libraby with current economic data and information about investment opportunities in Kurdistan, including the Investments Act, to be used by Bulgarian companies. We remind that the capital city of Kurdistan, Erbil has enjoyed increasing interest on the part of companies willing to invest in regions rich in oil deposits and with intensive development.
